(19) Top Ten Books on My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Normally I would mix my TBR; throw in some ARCs, a few that are on my wishlist that I'm hoping to get, and many that I've been meaning to read for a long freaking time. However, I plan on spending my Christmas break knocking down all of those books I had been excited about but never read, the ones that were at the top of my wishlists but somehow kept collecting dust on the desk or falling further down my Kindle library. So, all ten of these books are ones that I own that are at the top of the TBR pile and were probably on all of my highly anticipated lists in the last two years. And I hope to read ALL of them during my Christmas break!

So, what books are YOU planning on reading during the winter? Do you think you'll be able to stick to the TBR list that you made? As always, drop me a link! :)

    1. I DON'T THINK I WILL EITHER. And yes, Throne of Glass. ;) Okay, okay. I'll read Fangirl soon.

  2. I did the same thing, I don't want to concentrate on more books that I want to buy when they come out, or review books, but books that I have had forever! Of course, I don't ever completely stick to my TBR...

Anyway, awesome list, you have some great books on here! Fangirl is one of my all time favorite books and I really love the Throne Of Glass series, though not as much as some.

I hope you can fit these all in! =)

    1. I have so many ARCs/review copies to get done, but gah, I just want to read "me" books! I'll put myself in another slump if I keep forcing it (and that's just no fun). And I hope I can read all of these too. :)

  3. Oh, so many pretty books! I want to read almost all of them. We should (Can we!) buddy read Fangirl and The Winner's Curse? YOU'LL LOVE IF I STAY! AT LEAST I HOPE YOU WILL..

I need to read Throne of Glass, but with my ARCs, I probably shouldn't read it because then I'll want to read the other three and gah. So long! I'm going to have to end up buying all four next month because I can't take it anymore. I need them! I'll probably loan ToG out only to regret it just like I did with Mockingjay.

Art of Lainey and My Life Next Door are two (more) books I need to eventually check out and read from the library. And Sea of Tranquility.

Cruel Beauty is so pretty. I need more Beauty and The Beast retellings in my life.

    I love this post.

    1. I hope I love If I Stay too! BUT HYPE KILLS THEM FOR ME SOMETIMES. And oh gosh, I probably shouldn't read any of these with the amount of ARCs I have, but I know I'm going to anyway. Whatevs. Also, the waits for the sequels SUCKKKK.

I always need more Beauty and the Beast retellings in my life.

  5. The Winner's Curse is AMAZING. You should totally read it ASAP. I know there are some mixed reviews out there but I personally enjoyed If I Stay and the second book, Where She Went too. And surprisingly I liked the movie too, have you seen it, yet? I can't wait to read Cruel Beauty but I forgot it off my list.
Hope you'll enjoy all of your winter reads. :)

    1. I KNOW, I KNOW. I NEED TO DO THAT SOON. And omg, Nereyda, you have to read Jared's story! I'm sure it'll be good like the others have been. At least, I hope so. I'm very wary of the same stories retold through a different character.

    1. Ooh. Ooh, I need to read The Darkest Minds. I've heard such great things about that series. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was really enjoyable and I need to finish the trilogy. I really want to read The Young Elites, and oh Timebound is SO good! I hope you enjoy all of those books! :)

  8. Whoa, that is a very ambitious goal! I wish I had breaks, I cannot imagine how much reading I could get done. It would be magical, really. I need to read most of these too actually! The only ones I've read are If I Stay (loved) and The Winner's Curse (really liked).

Oh, and I absolutely, unequivocally will NOT stick to my TBR. I am pretty awful at it really.

    1. I just get so excited about books and then I don't read them, and so they sit on my desk collecting dust. So, I'm finally going to start knocking down the piles of physical ones I have, as well as those books that were at the top of my wishlist but I never read. And I doubt I'll stick to the list. I never do. :P
