April 2015 Releases

Woo guys, I'm back with a new releases post! I didn't do one in March because of my event (whose giveaways are STILL going on), but I missed it. I've been doing this every month (save March) for over a year, and I'm not stopping. :) Oh wait, you wanted to know what books are coming out and see the pretty covers, not hear me talk (fine fine I'll just be over here sobbing that my words don't matter). And here they are!

(apparently April 28th is where its at)

I've already read: An Ember in the Ashes and Black Iris. Both of them were two of my highly anticipated 2015 reads, and they were AMAZING!

I still need to review: The Girl at Midnight (which I've started, and I love so far even though I think I'm less than 10% into it), Play On (which I am currently reading), The Secrets We Keep, and The Truth About Jack. So yay, I have very few! I'm happy about this, because that means I can play catch-on the last few months. Oh, and I also have a physical ARC of I Am Her Revenge, but it was unsolicited so I don't feel obligated to review it if I don't want to.

I have been incredibly lucky to have read my highly anticipated for this month, so the one I'm most excited about now is: Rook!

As always, did I miss any good ones? Which ones are YOU excited about? :)

  2. So many awesome books are coming out this month and I love all these covers. The Secrets We Keep is by far one of my most waited books this year. The story sounds so unique, I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'd read anything by Ann Aguirre so obviously, The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things is a must read for me. I've never read any book that was at least semi similar to I Am Her Revenge so I have huge expectations.
Aside from your list of books I'm excited for Things We Know By Heart, Every Last Promise, and Broken Juliet so I can finally binge read it with the first novel, Bad Romeo. :)
Lovely list of books. I hope you'll end up enjoying all of these. :)

    1. I seriously can't wait to read The Secrets We Keep and will hopefully be doing that soon as it's a review book. Heh. I'm also excited about The Queen of Bright and Shiny things as well.

Just gimme all the books, basically. :D

  4. I'm so glad you put this post together because I was seriously going to do one, but it just seemed like way too much work.

Anyways, I'm definitely looking forward to a lot of these, especially 99 Days and The Secrets We Keep.

  5. Rook is good. I shall review Rook soon. 99 Days is good, but I have a feeling it will be polarizing. I liked it a lot though. Magonia... moving along. The Secrets We Keep was very good. I am starting Things We Know by Heart soon. And I want I Am Her Revenge SO much! And An Ember in the Ashes, but that has been pre-ordered, as has Play On.

A few good ones I will add: None of the Above by I.W. Gregorio, and Denton Little's Deathdate by Lance Rubin. And Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman. All really good!

And some with buzz: Becoming Jinn, Simon Versus the Homo Sapiens Agenda (which I really want to read!) and All the Rage (ditto!)

    1. YES YES YES so glad to hear that Rook is good! I want that book. So far I've heard polarizing reactions to 99 Days, which is good and I like that. It gets people discussing.

Also, None of the Above wasn't on my radar, but gah, people are saying it's really good! Must check it out. And I just added a few of those since I forgot them. Hehe. :)

Comments always make me smile. :) Seriously. Even if you comment on the post weeks or months later, it makes my day! So don't hesitate to leave your thoughts even if it's been a long time since the post was published. I'll try to reply to you, especially if you ask a question, but sometimes life happens. But I do read and appreciate every single one of them because I know how hard it can be to find the time or energy to comment. So a heartfelt THANK YOU for brightening my day when you do. <3
