June 2015 Releases

I'm back from BEA! Oh, what a whirlwind of an adventure! I will be doing recaps of everything, but I haven't written them yet. So I decided to just ease back into blogging with a new releases post! And there are SO MANY good books coming out this month! :)

June 2nd

June 8th

June 9th

June 16th

June 23rd

June 30th

I've already read: Descent! Yes, that is the only one. I'd been waiting for it for two years, and it didn't disappoint! Review will be coming up shortly for a blog tour. :)

For review: Dancing with Molly, Where You End, Devoted, Spelled, Wicked White, Hidden Huntress, The Witch Hunter, and Faking Perfect. Yeaaaaah, a lot! I'll try to read everything, but I can't make any promises. Especially since I have a few other review books to read (that aren't coming out this month) and my BEA haul. But I'll do my very best!

Most anticipated: Amber to Ashes. I know this is a dreadful love triangle book, but it sounds really good! Emmy & Oliver is definitely another!

As always, what did I miss?! What June books are YOU excited about? :)

  1. Can’t wait to read so many of these! I’ve already read HELLO, I LOVE YOU (which I didn’t really enjoy unfortunately) and UNDER THE LIGHTS (which was really good). Happy reading and hope you had a great time at BEA :D

    1. Yay, glad to hear that! I've been hearing such bad things about Witch Hunter, but I can't wait to try it myself. :)

  3. BOOOKS. More Happy Than Not, which I now AM because that girl gave it to me!!!!

Let's see. The Edge of Forever was good. Devoted was freaking AMAZING. Proof of Forever I was not clicking with so I stopped for now. Every Last Word is good so far! And I want to (will soon!) read Witch Hunter, The Devil You Know, and The Stars Never Rise!

A few others I really want to read are Skyscraping, ummm. I don't know any more because I think my brain is completely book-fried, if that can be a thing. It is definitely a thing.

    1. YOU'RE READING IT NOW? DAMN IT, SO IS VAL. WHY DON'T I HAVE IT TOO SO WE CAN ALL BUDDY READ IT TOGETHER? jk Passenger is so great right now like I can't even. You need to read it asap.

Gah, DEVOTED. I meant to read that BEFORE June but got caught up. It will be happening soon because I loved Jen's debut. Also will be reading Witch Hunter too!

      Skyscraping? the hell is that?

  5. You seem to know all the great releases! My most awaited release is one you didn't mention, not sure if you read the Princess Diaries anyway. The Royal Wedding sounds soo unbelievably good but I have to wait more than a week until it arrives. *sobbing* I'm currently re-reading the whole series, I have to say I really missed Mia and, most of all, Michael. I mean can you amazing anything as awesome as your childhood favorite getting an NA sequel because I certainly can't. I'm going to just shut up now.
    Lovely post! :)
PS: I'm not sure if you missed them accidently or are simply not interested but Joyride, Charlie Presumed Dead, Book Scavenger and The Revenge Playbook sound sooo good!

    1. HAHA, BUT I ALWAYS MISS SOME! Like the ones you mentioned. I usually try to post all of them, but if I'm not that interested, they're left off on purpose (or I really did forget that they were releasing).

I haven't read the Princess Diaries but Val LOVES Meg Cabot and all her talk about her at BEA, I really want to try her books. But no, that's so awesome that it's an NA sequel of them in later years. I'll bet you're very excited about it! :)

  6. I HAVE FINISHED MORE HAPPY THAN NOT. I WISH YOU GOT THAT FROM BEA BECAUSE IT IS GOOD. And sad.

I really want to read The Summer of Chasing Mermaids. I'm going to see if the library has it. Because. THE LITTLE MERMAID RETELLING. I also need to read The Witch Hunter too. (omg are you replying to comments now?)

    1. IT'S OKAY. I mean, I want to read it, but it's not a high priority. I probably won't get to it for a LONG time. I also really want to read that book, though I've never read hers before.

(YES, WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT. I WAS GOING TO LEAVE YOURS UNREPLIED BUT I THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE REALLY MEAN).

  7. So many great releases! The Stars Never Rise is definitely on my list - I'm so excited for that one. And I want The Night We Said Yes to be good, too. :)

  8. I don't know if you've read Devoted by now, but it's pretty good! I think the ones I'm most excited for are More Happy Than Not and Last Year's Mistake. They look like good books for me. :)

Comments always make me smile. :) Seriously. Even if you comment on the post weeks or months later, it makes my day! So don't hesitate to leave your thoughts even if it's been a long time since the post was published. I'll try to reply to you, especially if you ask a question, but sometimes life happens. But I do read and appreciate every single one of them because I know how hard it can be to find the time or energy to comment. So a heartfelt THANK YOU for brightening my day when you do. <3
